His job away from home did not lead to his affair. He had an affair because he has a character flaw. He betrayed you. If you merely took him back without the proper counseling to address his infidelity, it is no wonder your marriage is a mess. Your marriage is dead. You guys need some serious professional help to either get it back on track or to close the door. There seems to be no love in the mix. I am surprised you took a chance to bring a child into such a dysfunctional relationship. You have chosen to be a stay at home mom....I will always maintain that is a dumb choice for any woman. You have to rely on the whims and fancies of a man for your livelihood. It is a position that is hardly valued by many husbands. They look at it as you staying at home all day and not working. Your whining about wiping noses and sippy cups is misplaced. Who do you expect to wipe your child's runny nose? The neighbor? That is a choice you made when you decided to have a child.
