My hamster died and my mom won't let me get another one?!!!?

My hamster Emma died on April 2nd , exactly one week ago. I miss her so much and so does her little brother Sammy ( Sammy is my other baby boy hamster ) I really would like to get another girl Syrian hamster, like Emma, but my mom said she is not sure about it. How do I change her mind? Thanks!!!!!!!!!!
