Kingdom Hearts, stuck in Atlantica!?

Ok, so I went to kings throne and all that, ariel's grotto, cutscene with Ursula, now you're supposed to grab the dolphin to take you to the sunken ship so I grab the little f**ker and he takes me nowehere! is this a glitch or am I messing up??
