Pierre Puvis de Chavannes was a FRENCH painter (1824-98). What art movement did he contribute to? The Victorian movement started in 1850 IN ENGLAND and lasted about half a century. I dont know if he was involved in the Victorian movent because he was a FRENCH painter not an ENGLISH painter.
