Any bankers who feel they are just scapegoats?

I'd like to know of any banker's experiences of pressure or prejudice since the beginning of banking crisis. Is there anyone who has felt that they have personally been disproportionately blamed? I don't know much about the inner workings of a Bank, but are there certain people who put blame and pressure on their colleagues in order to save their own skin? There have been a number of suicides since the beginning of the crisis and I'd like to know what forces people to such extreme desperation.
